The above given diagram shows represents a simply supported beam with 1 uniformly distributed load, 1 uniformly varying load and 1 point load.
For the given loading conditions using the below calculator, one can find the shear force and the bending moment at each and every point of loading on the beam. In addition to this, one can also locate the point of inflection (where the shear force is said to be zero) where the maximum bending moment occurs on the beam which can used for structural analysis calculations.
Note: 1) the upward shear forces is considered as positive.
2) the downward shear forces is considered as negative.
3) the anticlockwise moments are positive.
4) the clockwise moments are negative.
